Open the app and write. Your notes are files on your machine. There is no login wall between you and your own text.
Mochi Notes stores your notes and backups in your Documents folder. The app can be removed without deleting your data, so reinstalling later does not mean starting again.

Add a Desktop shortcut or put Mochi Notes in the Windows Start Menu if you want it to feel properly installed.
Your notes are stored locally and backed up. If you uninstall the app later, the notes and backups are kept.
